The main investigator of crimes against the Maidan may be purging – MP
Head of the Department of special investigations of the GPU Sergey Gorbatyuk may soon be purging.
About it on a talk show, “the Right to Vlad,” said the people’s Deputy of Ukraine Vitaliy kupriy.
“He may be purging for the violation of human rights and established the European court. It [the dismissal] provided in article 3 of the law about the cleansing power”, – said the Deputy.
According to the Cupra, in 2001 Sergey Gorbatyuk, being investigator, a person deprived of legal aid. In the end, the man was sentenced to life imprisonment for double murder and 16 years in prison.
“The European court found that this violation, and the state has been obliged Ukraine to pay him 10 thousand euros in compensation. For dismissal [Gorbatyuk] maybe even criminal prosecution,” – said the Deputy.
Vitaliy kupriy noted that in the case of lustration of Gorbatyuk investigation of the Maidan can accommodate. In his opinion, the Ukrainian society needs to find a new attorney that effectively would govern the investigation of crimes against Maidan.

We will remind, Sergey Gorbatyuk accused the courts in the delay of consideration of cases on crimes against the Maidan.
“Over the years things may not even be assigned consideration. We have a situation with taps, recusals, changes of jurisdiction,” he complained Gorbatyuk.
According to him, out of 220 indictments, which were sent to court, only one or two production really dealt with in a reasonable time. But given the number of victims is impossible to expect that the trials will be completed in a short time, said the representative of the GPU.
