“Passport DNR”: the Russian Federation has shown its true purpose in Ukraine – Polish foreign Minister

The decision of the Russian Federation on the recognition of passports “DNR” and “LNR” undermining Ukraine’s sovereignty and is further evidence of Moscow’s intentions to destabilize the situation in Ukraine.

This is reported in the Polish foreign Ministry, writes UKRINFORM.

“According to the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Poland, the recent decision of the Russian Federation on the recognition of documents issued by the so-called separatists in parts of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts that are not controlled by the Ukrainian government, is another step that undermines the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine”, – said in a statement.

“Despite numerous statements about the readiness to a constructive resolution of the conflict, Russia demonstrated once again that its aim is to destabilize Ukraine, not implementation of commitments under the Minsk agreements”, – stressed the Polish foreign Ministry.

Recall that in Russia do not see any violations of international obligations in the decision to accept the “passports “L/DNI” legal.

This was stated during a meeting of the UN security Council first Deputy head of the permanent mission of Russia to the UN, Peter Ilichev.

“As for the allegations that the Russian decision on the recognition of documents “DND/LNB” allegedly contrary to the Minsk agreement, let me remind you that this decision does not contradict any international obligations of our country”, – said the Russian diplomat.

President Petro Poroshenko said in response that while recognizing the “passport”, “DNR” and “LNR”, Russia’s President Vladimir Putin once again confirmed that the occupation of Donbass under the control of the militants-separatists, and the Kremlin directly.
