Russia may use Transnistria to attack Ukraine – Poroshenko

The threat of full-scale aggression of the Russian Federation remains, Russia can use to attack our country’s military contingent in Transnistria.

Such an opinion during the operational fees of the APU in Kiev, said President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.

The President added that the threat of full-scale aggression by Russia will not go away.

“And this threat is not only oozing through the uncontrolled areas in Donbass – it’s hanging on the border line with Russia, and even more”, – said Poroshenko.

According to him, close to the Ukrainian border Russia has deployed units of its Armed forces numbering up to 50 thousand people, about 470 tanks, more than 1.7 thousand armored vehicles, 390 artillery systems and 220 systems of volley fire, about 490 combat aircraft, hundreds of helicopters, 24 combat ship.

We will remind, before Poroshenko reported that since the beginning of the Russian offensive in the Ukraine killed more than 2.6 thousand Ukrainian military. 2200 of the security forces served in the armed forces.
