The high Council of justice refused to dismiss a suspect in a fraud Grekivska
Members of the High Council of justice denied the Prosecutor General’s office request to suspend for four months the work of Paul Grekivska. The decision was made at the meeting, which was held in the presence of representatives of the GPU, as well as the suspect and his lawyers.
Greczkowski is a suspect in violation of several articles of the Criminal code of Ukraine – attempt at taking someone else’s property in especially large sizes on preliminary arrangement by group of persons by deceit (fraud). VSP referred to the fact that the materials about the guilt of its members is not received before the stipulated period – on February 22. “Not to impugn the decisions to be taken by the High Council of justice, in order to avoid accusations of bias or pressure in connection with these events, the member of the Board Greczkowski P. M. Tuesday, September 23, 2017 to 7 January 2017 was on leave without pay and did not participate in the meetings of the Council”, – noted in the official report of that body.
In January it was reported that the case Grekivska will soon be sent to court. At the same time, the suspect after the holiday back to the workplace.
