Luhansk fighters moved from occupied areas of the Russian ruble
From March 1 the basic monetary unit in the self-proclaimed “LNR” will be the Russian ruble.
The corresponding decree was published on the website of the so-called “Council of Ministers LNR”.

In the “document” says that the ruble becomes an official currency in the Republic “with the aim of adopting measures to stabilize the financial-monetary system, as well as in connection with the carrying out of financial transactions on the territory of Luhansk people’s Republic, mainly in Russian rubles”.
The so-called “decree” comes into force from March 1, 2017. In addition, “the State Bank LNR” will have every day to inform about the official rate of the Russian ruble against the hryvnia, the dollar and the Euro.
We will remind, on Saturday, February 18, the second day of the Munich security conference where world leaders urged Russia to fulfill the Minsk agreements and de-escalation of the conflict in the Donbass, the press service of the Kremlin reported about the signing by Vladimir Putin of the decree about recognition of the so-called “passports” ARDLA.
President Petro Poroshenko said in response that while recognizing the “passport”, “DNR” and “LNR”, Russia’s President Vladimir Putin once again confirmed that the occupation of Donbass under the control of the militants-separatists, and the Kremlin directly.
The legalization of so-called “passports” terrorist “LNR” and “DNR” was condemned by the international community, in particular negatively spoke at the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine and the OSCE, calling such actions a violation of the Minsk agreements, and explosion of peace efforts in Ukraine.
