NBU declared insolvent another commercial Bank

Commercial “Vector Bank” was declared insolvent. The decision of the Board of the national Bank , received yesterday, March 2.

“Essential reduction of liquidity of the Bank and providing inaccurate statistical reporting resulted in the appointments to the Bank supervisor and the attribution of PJSC “Vector Bank” to the category of problem. Article 58 of the Law of Ukraine “On banks and banking activity” establishes the obligation of owners of substantial participation in the Bank to take timely measures to prevent the insolvency of the Bank. However, the sole owner of PJSC “Vector Bank” did not provide financial support to the Bank”, – explained the decision of the NBU.

In NBU note that as of March 1, 2017 in the correspondent account “Vector Bank” remained critically small amount – only 76 thousand UAH, or 0.1% of the Bank’s liabilities.

95% of depositors (852 people) “Vector Bank” will receive their deposits in full, as their size does not exceed the guaranteed fgvfl $ 200 thousand UAH. Customers with large volumes of deposits will get them within the amount guaranteed by the Fund. The DGF will provide payment of the guaranteed amount in the amount of UAH 77.7 million.
