Start to prosecute. Avakov responded to the participant of “Eurovision” from Russia
The Ukrainian side needs to let the Russian contestant of Eurovision Julia Samoylova in our state and to bring her to justice for her performance in the occupied Crimea.
This opinion was expressed by MP and adviser to the interior Minister Anton Geraschenko.
According to the politician, in the Administration of the Russian President could not know that Samoilova acted at the Peninsula contrary to the legislation of Ukraine.

Gerashchenko is sure that the Kremlin’s tightly controlled the selection of the Russian entry, and the situation around the song contest called element of a hybrid war.
“The choice of Russia puts Ukraine in front of two solutions, each of which carries a certain risk for the political situation and will be used to create an atmosphere of hatred towards our country”, – said Gerashchenko.
The first option is not to let Samoilov on the territory of Ukraine.
“It will be used by the Russian propaganda machine to fan the hatred against our country on its territory, and among Ukrainian citizens on occupied territory. Supposedly see a girl with physical disabilities, the singer is not allowed to Ukraine without letting her to represent Russia in the European song code,” suggested the politician.
The second option is to put the Russian participant and to bring to responsibility for violation of the state border.
“So since we can’t make exceptions for anyone and encourage thus a violation of the state border of Ukraine. I think it is right to go for the second option. Let him come, but is responsible for violation of legislation of Ukraine”, – said Gerashchenko.
According to him, the decision is optimal from different sides, as Ukraine for example will show it has no plans to leave unpunished violations of the Ukrainian border.
