The lawyers of Yanukovych appealed to human rights organizations on charges of treason
Protection deprived the title of President Viktor Yanukovych appealed to the Commissioner of Parliament in human rights, Transparency International, Amnesty International, Ukrainian Helsinki Union on human rights and other human rights activists with a request to conduct outdoor monitoring of trials of cases against him, in particular cases of high treason.
This was reported by his lawyer Vitaly Serdyuk.
“Human rights organizations have provided confirmation of willful disregard by the Ukrainian authorities, article 6 of the European Convention on human rights and article 11 of the universal Declaration of human rights and we will initiate the holding of a public monitoring process of treason” – he stressed.
According to Serdyuk, the example of this case is observed the creation in Ukraine of national and contrary to international norms of precedent the legal investigation without participation of persons, “deliberate deprivation of his opportunity to testify, to defend themselves.”
In addition, the lawyer once again accused of GPU failure in the interrogation of Yanukovych, with the assistance of the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation and the violation of Ukrainian and international legislation.

“This prosecution violated the rights of the citizen, which today are still guaranteed by the national legislation and the universal Declaration of human rights, the European Convention on human rights”, – said Serdyuk.
