The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine today, March 22, considered the bill on the establishment of the financial investigation Service.
“I think that is quite correct, when we today consider a pre the law on financial investigation Service will forward it to the reform Council to work out, and after already to send to the Parliament for final adoption,” said Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman.
“The idea is to eliminate the Tax police have finally to eliminate the economic division of the National police, the so – called ex-service obkhss (Department for combating theft of socialist property – ed.), which in Soviet times were, and to eliminate the relevant economic unit in the security Service of Ukraine”, – he explained.

According to Groisman, the idea is to create a “unified financial investigation Service, which will be highly intellectual and will be quality from the viewpoint of the prevention economic crimes against the state.”
