Ukraine, together with the Chinese company will build the road for a detour of Kremenchug with a bridge crossing over the Dnieper river. In the structure of the old bridge will provide the opportunity for the future arrangement of the line of light metro.
The state Agency “Ukravtodor” and China road and bridge corporation (CRBC) signed on March 21 a Memorandum on cooperation in the field of design and construction financing, said today, March 22, CTS.

Now in the city at the only bridge across the Dnieper river has only two lanes. Thus, except for local traffic through the bridge goes through two important roads of hostmachine: national N-08 Boryspil-Kremenchug-Dnipro-Kiev-Mariupol and international M-22 Poltava-Alexandria, which is part of the European corridor E-584 Poltava-Chisinau-Slobozia (Romania) and part of the 9th pan-European transport corridor.

It is expected that after project implementation the existing duplex Kryukovsky bridge will be used exclusively for local trips. In addition, the design of the bridge shall be provided the opportunity for future arrangement of the line light metro to merge the left and the right part of Kremenchug.
