MP Artemenko confirmed that is canadian and Ukrainian citizenship
The extra fractional people’s Deputy of Ukraine Andrey Artemenko admitted that he is a citizen of Ukraine and Canada, but left a passport only Ukrainian.
He stated this in an interview to “KP in Ukraine”.
“I have no other countries’ passports. I have a passport of Ukraine. Was the passport of Canada, who in 2014, in accordance with the requirements of the existing legislation, I had to pause. I did it. He did it publicly in 2014, before the elections,” he stressed, became the people’s Deputy legal.
According to Artemenko, he refused citizenship of Canada.
“Procedure of renunciation of citizenship is a much more complex procedure that requires appropriate action, including legal. And I’m not breaking any laws of Ukraine, without violating any law of Canada, pay taxes in Ukraine and Canada,” he said, adding that other nationalities and citizenship had not.
In addition, the MP said that his children are citizens of Ukraine and live here, although, according to the Declaration for 2015, the son of Edward Daniel and daughter amber Catherine – citizens of the United States, the son of Vitaly is a citizen of Canada, and daughter Christina is a citizen of Ukraine.
