Militants “DNR” threatened to fire the OSCE representatives

Militants “DNR” opened fire near a patrol of the OSCE representatives in the Cossack.

This is stated in the report of Special monitoring mission of the OSCE.

It is noted that the incident occurred March 28 at 11 a.m., when the six employees of the organization in two armoured vehicles drove up to the complex, located on the Eastern outskirts of the Cossack village, which was occupied by fighters of “DNR”.

When employees were standing 100 yards away, an armed gunman ordered them to stop. When the patrol stopped, the mission saw eight armed terrorists near the complex, and three of them went in the direction of the patrol.

“30-40 m from the team SMM one of the men aggressively motioned for observers, so they left the area. At the same time he fired three shots into the air from a machine gun (AK‑47) and then another six shots into the ground a few meters from where he stood and looked in the direction of the observers,” – said the OSCE.

Representatives of the patrol immediately turned and left the scene, but heard that their side was made 4 shots.

As a result of incident nobody has suffered, and the OSCE reported by the Joint center for control and coordination.

We will remind, on March 17, a bullet from small arms flew above the heads of the OSCE SMM observerswho conducted the monitoring of compliance with the “silence regime” near the occupied by terrorists “DNR” Yasinovataya.

The organization stressed that the observers carried out monitoring of the observance of the cease-fire to enable demining in the territory of the filter station and in close proximity to it, as well as recovery of water from both sides of the line of collision.
