Putin called the city where ready to meet with trump
Russian President Vladimir Putin said he was ready to meet with the head of the White house Donald trump during the Arctic summit, which could take place in Finland.
He said this, speaking at the plenary session of the forum “Arctic – territory of dialogue”.

Earlier in January, the Finnish authorities stated that they are ready to spend on its territory a Summit of the Arctic Council with the participation of presidents of Russia and America.
In may to Finland for two years taking over the chairmanship in the Arctic Council.
“Finland, in my opinion, a very appropriate country, Helsinki is a very suitable platform for the organization of such events”, – Putin said, adding that such events should be well prepared “on both sides”.
“If that happens, we will be happy to participate and I’ll be glad to participate in this event. If not, well then, in the ordinary meetings of this kind at the summit (in Germany in July of this year), I think that such a meeting (U.S. President) may be held,” he said.
