First day of “truce” in the Donbas: 20 fire fighters and four wounded Ukrainians
Today, April 1, from midnight in the area of ATO in the Donbas was supposed to be the “silent mode”, agreed upon by the Trilateral contact group in Minsk. However, on Saturday, the militants 20 times fired at positions of the Ukrainian military, wounding four soldiers.
This is stated in the summary of the press center of the ATO headquarters as at 18:00.
In Donetsk direction with mortars of caliber of 120 mm and 82 mm, and later from APCS and small arms fighters fired at strong points near Luhansk. From grenades of various systems fired near Verkhnetoretsky, and heavy machine guns fired strongholds near Avdiivka. From small arms fighters opened fire in the districts of Luhansk, Avdeyevka and Trinity. In close proximity Maori, Avdeevka and Verhnetoretskogo worked fighters snipers.
On the Mariupol direction was also restless. Anti-tank missile system, grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns and small arms of the Russian-terrorist units fired on the positions of Ukrainian military near the Water. Of small arms fired at the Marines under Shirokin and Gotovim.
In Lugansk region militants showed minimal activity. However, the Ukrainian position near the village of Lugansk was shelled by a sniper.
