At the same time, the militants expect the Ukrainian army will return the debaltseve force, so in this area is the preparation for the defense.

He added that in these conditions, from a purely military point of view the Mariupol direction is the most fertile for the organization of the offensive.
“However, Mariupol has long thanks to the efforts of the ATO forces is essentially a fortress town, storm it can only be from an excess of folly,” – at the same time, Tymchuk emphasized.

In his opinion, the main feature of the training of Russian troops to the major offensive can be active and large-scale transfer to the Donbass additional units of the armed forces.
“However, the last such transfer from the territory of the Russian Federation (to the band Donetsk-Yasinovataya and in only 2 Russian Btgr) we saw during Avdiivka exacerbation in February,” he said and stressed that operational transfer (especially in Mariupol direction) is possible in a few days.
“In General, today we do not see clear signs of preparation of Russian-terrorist troops to attack. However, this willingness – it is a maximum of a week”, – summed up the MP.
Earlier it was reported that Russia massed near the border with Ukraine about 18 thousand troops and a large amount of military equipment.
