Russian FSB in Crimea detained a Ukrainian ship for “violation of the border”

In the occupied Crimea Russian border guards detained a Ukrainian seiner (fishing vessel) “Fisherman Kherson” for violation “of the state border of the Russian Federation”.

This is with reference to the press service of the self-proclaimed border Department of the FSB of Russia in the Crimea, writes “Interfax-Ukraine”.

“As a result of a survey of ten team members and the captain (all are citizens of Ukraine) of the ship, through the exploration of aquatic biological resources in the open sea, dug in the territory of Russia almost 400 meters”, – stated in the message.

According to the Russian FSB, the first border patrol ship “Amethyst” was chasing the ship, and then Russian border guards landed on his Board.

As noted, the incident occurred a few days ago, but it became known only now. The shipowner company is a company from Odessa, and port of registry of the ship is the Black sea.

“The ship’s captain brought to administrative responsibility for violation of the state border of the Russian Federation with imposing of a fine in the amount of 60 thousand rubles,” – said the guards.

Earlier, a warship of the Russian Federation has cut the path of the ship of sea protection of Ukraine in the Black sea. The incident occurred near the so-called “towers Boyko”, which is controlled by the Russians.
