Trump and Merkel agreed to cooperate on the conflict in Ukraine
The conflict in Eastern Ukraine was the topic of a telephone conversation between the President of the United States Donald trump and German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

In addition to the Ukrainian question, the leaders of the US and Germany discussed the situation in Afghanistan.
“Leaders pledged close cooperation and coordination on these and other issues,” – said in a statement the White house.
