A date has been set and the judges who will consider the case of Yanukovych of treason
In the Obolon court of Kyiv determined the composition of the court, which will hear the case of treason against Viktor Yanukovych.
The first meeting will be held on may 4.
According to the site Obolonskyi court, the material was received on 10 April, reports Ukrainian Pravda.
Presiding judge: Vladislav Devyatko, and the judge-Rapporteur and two other members of the Board: judge For Dmitry and Maxim Titov.
Earlier it was noted that on April 7, Ukrainian news, citing a source claimed that this composition of the court will consider the case of Yanukovych. In this case, the court April 7, said that the case materials the court has not yet entered. Thus an automatic redistribution of cases to take place could not.
In a press-service of the court said that the case went to court on Monday, and the automatic redistribution took place on Monday evening.
“The case came yesterday at the end of the day, transferred to the wrist from the court of Appeal of Kyiv. Immediately after registration took place autorespoder. Through automatic allocation of cases was assigned to the court. The redistribution was attended by all judges of the Obolon court of Kyiv, which were not in hospital”, – have informed in a press-service.
The question of how the court can explain that earlier media called the same composition of the court, the press service said:
“I can’t explain. On Friday in court was the sentencing in the case of a Tornado. All our comments were on this case. When someone asked about the case of Yanukovych, I asked everyone to dial in on Monday, because at that time in court was not the case of Yanukovych,” – said the press Secretary of the court.
We will remind, on March 28, the court of Appeal instructed the Obolonskiy district court of Kyiv to consider the case of former President Viktor Yanukovych, who is accused of treason.
As explained by Prosecutor General Yury Lutsenko after the announcement of the full text of the decision in the court of Appeal (April 3) the indictment should have been sent to Obolonskogo district court. After that within 5 days Obolonsky district court must set a date for a hearing.
