Strong support: the state Department said about the position Tillerson on Ukraine at talks in Moscow

During negotiations in Moscow, the position of U.S. Secretary of state Tillerson on Ukraine will remain consistent: to stop the aggression of the Russian Federation and full implementation by Moscow of Minsk agreements.

This was announced by the acting representative of US State Department mark Toner, informs UKRINFORM.

“The Secretary of state Tillerson was absolutely clear our position, the position of the U.S. government towards Ukraine and our support for the Minsk process, as well as continuing sanctions, while Russia and the separatists it supports, does not fulfill its obligations under the Minsk agreements,” – said the official representative of the state Department.

Toner recalled that the Secretary of state Tillerson had a conversation with President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and very clearly said that “the U.S. position on Ukraine remains unchanged with a very strong support of the Ukrainian government, and full implementation of the Minsk agreements”.
