In NAPC explained why hid electronic declarations a number of military prosecutors and GPU

The declarations of some officials of the military Prosecutor’s office was withdrawn from the registry of electronic declarations on the basis of the decision on application of special measures of security.

This informs the National Agency for prevention of corruption in Facebook.

“Statements of some officials of the military Prosecutor’s office was removed from the register declarations on the basis of the corresponding decision on application of special security measures”, – stated in the message on the social network.

In anpc added that the Declaration of some officials of the military Prosecutor’s office was withdrawn on the basis of the corresponding decision on application of special measures to ensure the safety of these workers and their close relatives in accordance with the resolution of the chief military Prosecutor Anatoly Matios. Such measures are of a temporary nature. However, these declarations are stored on the resources of the registry and available for inspection.

“The NAPC decision was based on article 17 of the specified law “On state protection of court employees and law enforcement”, and made with awareness of the possible negative consequences of the failure of the decision. It should be noted that the disuse, failure to use adequate measures for the safety of law enforcement officers or persons involved in criminal proceedings or disclosure of information about security measures regarding persons taken under protection entails responsibility in accordance with the legislation”, – summed up in the NAPC.

Earlier it was reported that from the website of the National Agency for prevention of corruption disappeared hundreds of declarations that belonged to the employees of the Prosecutor General and the military Prosecutor’s office of Ukraine.
