China is ready to introduce visa-free regime for Ukraine
The Chinese government has expressed its readiness to introduce visa-free regime with Ukraine, based on the willingness of the two countries.
This was announced by the Ambassador of China in Ukraine, Du Wei at a press conference on the occasion of the establishment of the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Ukraine and China, reports Interfax-Ukraine.
“The Chinese side is ready at any time, in accordance with the desire of the two parties, according to the principle of equality and mutual benefit, to adopt new measures on the exchange of people between our countries, including a visa-free regime”, – he said.
The diplomat also noted that the Chinese side welcomes the decision of the European Union on liberalization of visa regime with Ukraine.
We will remind, the European Parliament on 6 April voted in favor of granting a visa-free regime for Ukraine, that is, the abolition of Schengen visas. Roughly, the beginning bezveza on the 11th of June, but before that have another series of votes.
