“People’s deputies from party “popular front” abusing their status, exercise pressure on a judge who elects a measure of restraint for detained Mykola Martynenko Sergey Fractures,” — said in a statement.
“During the court hearing, which took place on 21 April in the premises of Solomensky court, was attended by more than ten deputies and several acting Ministers from the party “people’s front”. Some of them behaved very provocatively, threatened the judge and prosecutors. At the same time the Bureau noted that certain other statements are present in the court room politicians to the address of the NABU and SAP, in particular, and that the newly created anti-corruption institutions work “the order of the Kremlin”, “ramshackle coalition” and pursue the “hero of the Maidan”, — “actually went beyond common sense and ethics of the statesman”.
Consequently, the NAB urged the leadership of the party “national front”, which is included in the current ruling coalition “to appease his own party, because their behavior does not only hinder justice, but to destroy the trust that remained in society, in public institutions,” — said in a statement.
Meanwhile, on Saturday, April 22, at the time when the judge Bobrovnik out of the courtroom for the decision on the granting of Martinenko measure, representatives of the popular front told the media that disagree with the position of the NABOO about the pressure on the judge.
“Such an inadequate response, obviously due to nervousness of the leaders of NABOO. After all, illegal, politically motivated arrest Martynenko became possible due to suspicious relations between the Bureau and a few specific judges”, — declared in party.
“There are serious, substantiated reason to believe that the leadership of NABOO (in particular, Guizot Ugulava) carries out covert and illegal influence on judges mentioned — keeping them “on the hook” suspended criminal proceedings, operational Affairs and private-household of “dirt”. At the same time these biased judges in a suspicious way are “automatically selected” cases in which it is possible to assume the personal interests of Mr. Ugulava and his former patron, TV presenter Mikheil Saakashvili”, the statement reads.
“Popular front” promised to make every effort to ensure that the facts and allegations of the abuse of justice on the part of NABOO’s faster to get an objective legal assessment.
