Poroshenko and Klimkin responded to the undermining of a car of the OSCE in Luhansk

The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko expressed condolences to the families of the deceased at the time of the explosion in Luhansk members of the OSCE and accused the rebels of hindering the work of the monitoring mission

The President wrote on his page in Facebook.

“I Express my condolences to the families of the deceased representative of the Special monitoring mission of the OSCE. And wish a speedy recovery to the wounded. Commanded Ukrainian doctors, if necessary, ready to provide the necessary help”, – wrote Poroshenko.

He also added that this crime should be investigated and the guilty punished.

“Instructed the foreign Minister to be in constant coordination with the OSCE. The Ukrainian side condemns all forms of constant interference by militants in the work of the OSCE SMM. Its security and freedom of action should be guaranteed,” the President said.

In turn, the Minister of foreign Affairs Pavlo Klimkin also expressed condolences to the bereaved family and the entire team of SMM of the OSCE. He assured that the wounded will be given all necessary medical care.

In addition, he stressed the need for a thorough investigation of the tragedy with the car of the OSCE mission in the occupied territories and urged to ensure the safety of the SMM and freedom of action in accordance with the mandate.

Recall that in the explosion of the car of the OSCE in the Luhansk region killed one member of the mission, two more got wounds. The mission said that six patrol moved in two armoured vehicles when the explosion occurred.
