Ukrainian army again suffered losses in the Donbas. Chronicle of the ATO
Wednesday, April 26, in the area of ATO in the Donbas killed one Ukrainian military, another six were injured.
This is stated in the summary of the press center of staff ATO.
“The situation in ATO area is escalating. Over the past day units of Russian occupation troops 47 times opened fire on positions of Armed forces of Ukraine. In some cases, when there is an immediate threat to the life and health of servicemen, the commanders made decisions on the adequate opening fire in response. According to the intelligence headquarters of the ATO, as the result of an adequate response to the enemy fire, during 25 and 26th of April destroyed the three Russian mercenaries, 7 militants of illegal armed formations are wounded”, – stated in the message.
On the Mariupol direction from 120-mm mortars, weapons, infantry fighting vehicles and armored personnel carriers, grenade launchers and small arms fighters hit the positions near Shyrokine. The 82-millimetre mortars, APCS, grenade launchers of various systems and heavy machine guns fired strongholds near Water. The 82-mm mortars applied on the positions of Ukrainian troops near the Birch. Marinka fired from APCS, grenade launchers of various systems of large-caliber machine guns and small arms, and Krasnogorovka, Novotroitsk and Pavlopol from grenade launchers and small arms. Positions near Gotovogo militants fired machine guns, large caliber and strong points near Chermalyk from small arms. In the area of Marinka militants acted snipers.
On the Donetsk direction at positions near Troitsk militants fired mortars caliber 82 mm and 120 mm, rocket-propelled grenades and small arms. The 82-mm mortars, large caliber machine guns and small arms used at reference points near Verhnetoretskogo. In the area of Avdeyevka fired 82-millimeter mortars, rocket-propelled grenades of various systems and heavy machine guns, and near the Sands fired rocket-propelled grenades and machine guns of large caliber. From grenades of various systems and small arms hit the positions near Mayorsk and Novgorod. Novgorod also under the militants acted snipers.
On Lugansk the direction from mortars of a caliber of 120 mm anti-tank grenade launchers and machine guns of large caliber fighters beat on strong points near Novoaleksandrovka. Fire 120-mm mortars covered the Ukrainian positions near Popasna, and 82-millimeter mortars, rocket-propelled grenades and heavy machine guns beat on strong points in the area of Trinity. Near Novozvanovka fired rocket-propelled grenades of various systems and large-caliber machine guns, and near the village of Lugansk – rocket-propelled grenades and small arms.
