Militants “DNR” shot from a gun drove OSCE observer from his post

The militants of the terrorist organization “DNR” by a shot from an AK-47 prevented the movement of observers of mission of OSCE on Donbass.

This is stated in the report of the mission on may 7, UNIAN reports.

Observers tried to get into the occupied village of Sosnovskoye, located 35 km North-East of Mariupol. The separatists stopped them at a checkpoint in the Eastern part of the village.

“When the SMM is awaiting the arrival of the local “commander”, she saw an armed member of the “DNR”, which at first prevented access, fired one shot from his assault rifle (AK-47) vertically in the air and gesturing to move away from the checkpoint,” – said in the report.

The OSCE staff withdrew from the checkpoint and about 10 minutes later, they were approached by a leader of the local militants. He said that access to the village was not available, because work continues on the mine from the Western part of the checkpoint.

The OSCE mission about this incident reported to the Joint center for control and coordination.

We will remind, the OSCE special monitoring mission said about sexual abuse by armed men in ORDO against a member of the patrol mission are female. The woman was subjected to sexual harassment by men armed with assault rifles (AK-47), who threatened that will not allow the patrol Mission to move eastward from Peter to Sochi, while his demands are not met. The patrol left the area by another route and JCCC informed about what happened.
