Ukraine finalized the divorce with the Russian Empire – Poroshenko
President Petro Poroshenko said that Ukraine finalized the divorce with the Russian Empire, received a visa-free regime with the European Union.
He declared it in interview to TV channel “1+1”.
“I would say that today Ukraine finalized your divorce with the Russian Empire and so philosophically we perceive it to be,” said Poroshenko.
The President believes that a visa-free regime with the EU gets Ukraine to Europe.
“It is not only and not so much on visa-free border crossing, we are talking about the return of Ukraine to a historical place in the European countries,” the President said.
