Groisman in Israel discussed with the Patriarch of Jerusalem, the establishment of a local Ukrainian Church
Vladimir Groisman during his official visit to Israel, met with Patriarch of Jerusalem Theophilos. His Beatitude expressed his confidence that the issue of the division of the churches in Ukraine can be solved, but not political or military, and spiritual means, according to a story TSN.19:30.
For its part, the head of Ukrainian government noted the importance of the personal role of the Patriarch in the revival of interfaith dialogue and thanked for the support of Ukraine. “We do not interfere in the Affairs of the Church, but we believe that we must do everything for the quality of inter-Church dialogue in the creation of a United Orthodox local Church. Ukraine is a very important and very expected,” – said Groisman.
