Poroshenko wants to open access to the databases of customs declarations

The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko instructed the Ministry of Finance and the Chairman of the State fiscal service to provide access to the databases of customs declarations.

About it writes “Interfax-Ukraine”.

“I put the first priority, that we harmonized the customs law, which gives us the opportunity with the EU – not as a gesture of goodwill, but as a duty based on the agreements on the basis of the harmonized legislation no later than 1 January 2018 start database access”, – said Poroshenko.

According to the head of the state, then access to databases of customs declarations was extremely interested customs officers and smugglers.

Poroshenko instructed the relevant agencies to conduct a coordination meeting and submit proposals regarding this issue.

We will remind that since Wednesday, may 10, the National anti-corruption Bureau of Ukraine have full access to the Unified state register of declarations of officials authorized to perform state functions or local government.
