For last days fighters 60 times fired at positions of forces of ATO, Ukrainian military are wounded
Over the last day, 4 June, Pro-Russian illegal armed groups 60 times opened fire on positions of ATO forces, including 9 times used Minsk agreements prohibited weapons.
In the fighting over the past day, two soldiers of the ATO forces were injured, reported the press center of staff ATO.
“The operative situation in the ATO area remains difficult. Yesterday afternoon, Russian-terrorist gangs are relatively less fire activity in different sections of the demarcation line, but by nightfall, the militants significantly increased the intensity and destructive nature of its armed provocations along the entire front,” – said in the message.
According to the headquarters ATO, just hotter on Sunday afternoon was at the seaside track.
“The epicenter of enemy activity was the village of Water, the strongholds of ATO forces near which the enemy fired several times from small arms of various calibres and grenades. Also yesterday, from the infantry weapons, the militants fired on our positions near Talakivka, Marinka, Hnutove and Lebedinsky, and 82-mm mortars – near Krasnogorovka and Shirokino” – said in the headquarters.
In addition, night fighters used in the area of Water-APCS and anti-tank missiles, and on the approaches to Krasnogorovka at about 21.30, was hit on the positions of Ukrainian soldiers from tank guns.
In just the past day in this area recorded 28 instances of the use of weapons by militants.
On Donetsk the direction fighters of 12 times fired on the Ukrainian military, often fired at positions of anti-terrorist operation forces in the suburb of Avdeevka, using grenade launchers of various modifications and small arms.
Also under enemy shelling of 82-mm mortars were the strongholds of the fighters ATO near Verhnetoretskogo, Experienced and Trinity. From the outskirts of the occupied Horlivka militants were firing from APCS and heavy machine guns at the fortifications of the armed forces of Ukraine near zaitsevo.
“After a relative lull in the Lugansk direction the day Pro-Russian bands significantly intensified with the onset of twilight. In particular, by the end of the day the invaders were repeatedly shelled with mortars of caliber of 120 mm and 82 mm, and from small arms and grenade launchers at the positions of ATO forces, located near the Crimean, Katerinovka, Novoaleksandrovka and Boguslavsky”, – told in the headquarters, adding that fighters fired from infantry weapons strengthening of the Ukrainian soldiers near the village of Lugansk and Novozvanovka.
Only in this area recorded 20 enemy attacks.
To remind, Ukraine has managed to regain control of another strategic site at the front. Plot near Bakhmutskaya route was more than two years under the control of militants.
