Poroshenko decided on the fate of the law on Ukraine’s membership in NATO

Talking about the filing of an application for membership in NATO is premature. This was stated by Petro Poroshenko during a meeting with Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite in Kharkov, says the story TSN.19:30.

“We’ll be talking today not about the formal side of filing, and that Ukraine needs to do to reform our government in order to meet the criteria necessary for membership,” – said the Ukrainian leader. At the same time, Poroshenko has promised to sign voted before the Verkhovna Rada a law on the renewal rate for zenstwo in NATO, since this parliamentary initiative was agreed with him.

In the intention to reform the country to appropriate standards Poroshenko and President of Lithuania. “We’re not just talking about the necessity of submitting a formal application, and the implementation of reforms. For Lithuania, for example, after application, it took almost 10 years of very difficult reforms, and the process was extremely important.
