Klimkin: Ukraine plans to organize a conference call in “channel format”
Ukraine plans to organize telephone conference of member countries of the “Normandy format” on settlement of situation in Donbas.
This was stated by foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin, reports “Radio Freedom”.
Klimkin said that a telephone conference between the main representatives of Ukraine, Russia, Germany and France to be held in the near future: “we are Talking about a few days.”
According to the head of the foreign Ministry of Ukraine, Kyiv phone discussion “brings a clear question: Russia should not continue to be able to violate the Minsk agreements.”

We will remind, the President of France Emmanuel macron plans to hold a meeting in the “Normandy format” before the G20 summit, which is scheduled for July 7-8 in Hamburg. Macron is convinced that negotiations with colleagues in the “channel format” will allow him to better understand at what stage is the settlement of the Ukrainian issue.
Previously, the macron after a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin on 30 may declared the necessity of negotiations “channel four” (France, Germany, Ukraine, Russia) as quickly as possible.
