Ukraine will receive several million euros grant for the reform of public administration

Ukraine will receive a grant of 5 million euros for the transformation of systems of public Finance management and public administration reform.

The agreement was signed with the European Union and the world Bank, said world Bank Director for Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine, satu Kähkönen, says “UNN”.

“Today we have signed an agreement to provide technical assistance to support the management of public resources. 5 million euros issued from the European Union to support this work,” she said, adding that the world Bank provides only technical assistance.

In addition, Kähkönen noted that the world Bank plans to complete design work, consulting, and technical assistance for two years.

“We expect to see results in 2-2. 5 years. This is a long term process, and this work can be extended and renewed,” she concluded.

According to first Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of economic development and trade Stepan Kubiv, a system of public Finance management will be allocated over 3 million euros.

Recall that NATO will give Ukraine the equipment for the cyber defence on more than 1 million euros. The leader of the trust Fund on cyber security is Romania, which has already purchased the necessary equipment.
