Poroshenko had a meeting with a delegation of U.S. congressmen
On 3 July the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko had a meeting with a bipartisan delegation of the U.S. Congress.
About it reports a press-service of the Ukrainian President.
During the meeting the sides discussed issues of strengthening of sanctions against Russia, strengthening of defense capability of Ukraine, as well as increased investment and trade-economic cooperation.
The President informed the Congress about the situation in the Donbas and continuing violations of the ceasefire by militants.

The sides spoke in favor of strengthening sanctions against Russia until the complete fulfillment of the Minsk agreements and to restore sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, including Crimea.
The delegation consisted of members of the house of representatives John.Denham, M. Bost.Westerman, G. Davis, N. Desolder, M. Capuano, C. Cobelo, D. Lamalfa.Farenthold, and G. Aderholt.
