The Prosecutor General’s office is investigating the case against the issuance of “PrivatBank” loans for the two structures at the tens of billions of hryvnia.
This was stated by Prosecutor General Yury Lutsenko, reports Еспресо.TV.
In particular, a few months ago, the GPU has opened a number of criminal proceedings on various qualifications about the events in “PrivatBank”. Production relate to the events of December 2016, and between 2008 and 2016.
“At this point, the result of GPU is concentrated on one of these productions, which defines the events surrounding the issuance of loans to the two structures on the tens of billions UAH, despite the fact that these structures are the national Bank was recognized related to the beneficiaries of the “PrivatBank”, so they were forbidden to give loans”, – said the Prosecutor General.
According to Lutsenko, now are questioning employees of the credit Committee of “PrivatBank” and employees of the NBU, which was responsible for monitoring the legality of actions of “Private”.
“There are interrogations of witnesses and we also ordered a comprehensive financial audit, which will probably give reason for nomination suspicions,” he said.
