Opposition from Russia was denied political asylum in Ukraine and taken to the border

The Russian activist, member of opposition party “the Apple” Vladimir Yegorov said that the Ukrainian authorities refused to grant political asylum and return back to Russia.

He said this to Radio Liberty.

According to him, employees of SBU took him to the neutral zone on the border with Russia, as the authorities found no grounds to grant him asylum.

Egorov left Russia in mid-June after his house in the town of Toropets Tver region of Russia several times set on fire by unknown.

The man connects it with the opposition and anti-corruption activities.
