Poroshenko appointed head of mission of Ukraine to NATO

The head of Ukraine’s mission to NATO, was appointed the first Deputy Minister of foreign Affairs Vadym Prystayko.

The decree of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko from July 7, announced the press service of the head of state.

“To appoint Pristayko Vadim Vladimirovich head of Mission of Ukraine to NATO”, – the document says.

Note, Vadim pristayko is in the diplomatic service since 1997. In particular, he was Deputy Director of NATO Department Ministry of foreign Affairs of Ukraine (2007-2009), Deputy head of mission of the Embassy of Ukraine in USA (2009-2012), as well as the extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine in Canada (November 8, 2012 – October 29, 2014).

Since 2014 until today was Deputy Minister for foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

We will remind, earlier US state Secretary Rex Tillerson has appointed former US Ambassador to NATO, Kurt Volker, special representative for Ukraine.
