The two companies allocated land in the Chernobyl zone for the construction of solar power plants

The state Agency of Ukraine on exclusion zone management for 49 years leased five acres of land in the Chernobyl zone for the construction of solar power plants.

In particular, OOO “Ecosolar invest” (Vinnitsa) received 3.4 hectares, and “solar Chernobyl” (Kyiv) – 1.7 hectares. About it writes “Energoinform”.

“Ecosolar invest” received the use of the concrete pad sediment transport in Chernobyl, “solar Chernobyl” – part of a concrete platform near the building of the “switchgear 2-nd stage” in Pripyat.

According to the state Agency, “Ecosolar invest” already operates one solar power station in Ukraine with installed capacity of 3 MW.

According to the register, “Ecosolar invest” belongs to Alexander Labinsky and Batima Babich. Son Babich Dmitry – the Deputy of the Kiev regional Council from Party of regions, headed the state Administration of environmental protection in the Vinnitsa region.

The sole beneficiary of a “solar Chernobyl”, according to the state register is Eugene Varagen – a former project Manager for solar power plant Activ Solar (controlled by Kluyev brothers).

At the same time, the state Agency for exclusion zone management claim that “solar Chernobyl” is a joint project of the consortium “Enerparc AG – homeland energy Group”.
