Session of the Verkhovna Rada may extend to the end of summer

The initiative of the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Andrew Parubiy on the extension of the session of the Verkhovna Rada until September was supported by three factions, among them – “Block Poroshenko”, “popular front” and “Fatherland”.

This was stated by representatives of the appropriate fractions, writes Interfax-Ukraine.

At the meeting of the conciliatory Council of leaders of factions, committees and groups of the Parliament the leader of the faction “Block of Petro Poroshenko” Arthur Gerasimov noted that today, July 10, begins the last plenary week of the Verkhovna Rada.

However, according to him, the agenda remained a significant number of issues that require urgent legislative solution.

“That’s why the faction “Block of Petro Poroshenko” supports the initiative of continuing the work of the 6th session of the Verkhovna Rada until September,” – said Gerasimov.

In turn, this initiative was supported by the leader of the faction “people’s front” Maxim Bourbaki: “the Faction “people’s front” refers to you, Mr. Chairman, that You did not close the 6th session of the Parliament, given the many unresolved issues. Six-week recess of Parliament, where war is unacceptable.”

About of the faction “Batkivshchyna” declared it the people’s Deputy, member of the profile Committee on foreign Affairs Boris Tarasyuk.

We will remind, the Verkhovna Rada may consider all representations about removal of inviolability from deputies in a single day. If Parliament will support this proposal, they will consider this Thursday, July 13.
