The court refused to ex-Prosecutor General Shokin in reinstatement

The court refused to the former head of the GPU Viktor Shokin in the resume on the post of the Prosecutor General.

This was announced by the acting Prosecutor General Yury Lutsenko during a speech in Parliament.

“By the way I want simultaneously to inform you that today the highest court refused to Lutsenko’s removal and reinstatement to the position Shokin” he said.

We will remind, the Supreme administrative court of Ukraine refused to consider the claim of the Victor for his reinstatement in office of Prosecutor General of Ukraine. So, according to the lawyer, people’s Deputy Oleksandr Onishchenko Shokin told about the alleged bribery of MPs during the adoption of the resolution of the Parliament on the resolution on the dismissal of Shokin.

Former Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin asked the Supreme administrative court to declare illegal the decree of the President about his dismissal and the relevant resolution of the Verkhovna Rada.
