The militants forced thousands of people to work in labor camps in the Donbas – media
In the occupied part of Donbass , the militants have created a network of labor camps where prisoners are forced to free labor.
This was reported by human rights defenders in the radio station Deutschlandfunk, Deutsche Welle reports.
It is noted that the income from forced labour in such camps is up to 500 thousand euros per month. These funds are spent for financing of the separatists in the Donbas.

In turn, the so-called government of the self-proclaimed “DNR” and “LNR” have not responded to a request for information concerning the existence of such camps.
It is reported that human rights activists and journalists made this conclusion from the fact that in the camps in the East of Ukraine contains up to 10 thousand prisoners. Many of them had no reason to get into such camps.
So partly it’s about the people, the Ukrainian courts sentenced to imprisonment by the spring of 2014. Currently these people or have to serve their sentences or for them to be applied Amnesty or other leniency as was adopted in Ukraine.
