The Nikolaev city Council from the second attempt has recognized Russia as aggressor
The Nikolaev deputies from the second attempt has recognized Russia as the aggressor.
About it reported in a press-service of the city Council.
“After discussion, the members of the project 28 deputies voted, 2 abstained, and 19 members did not vote. Thus, the majority decision was accepted”, – stated in the message.
As noted, the draft decision on the recognition of Russia as aggressor country introduced the deputies of the mayor Alexander Senkevich, just in the audience there were 43 deputies.
In addition, the city Council instructed the office staff to communicate this decision to the President, Parliament and Cabinet and to call for a peaceful restoration of territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine.
According to local media reports, the deputies had proposed three draft decisions.
