“BRSM-Nafta” has told about the reason for the new fire at the oil depot near Kiev
A national network of “BRSM-Nafta” has declared that has no relation to the emergence of yesterday’s fire in the oil depot territory near the village of Terns.
About it reports a press-service of the company.
According to preliminary data, recorded by the police, the cause of the fire was an attempt by unidentified persons to commit theft of scrap metal. Unknown wanted to cut metal construction, which remained after a fire at the oil depot in June 2015.
“Appropriate statements sent to the National police of Ukraine and we hope for an impartial and effective investigation is ready to cooperate with the bodies of preliminary investigation to establish the perpetrators”, – says the company.

It was reported that near the village of Terns at the former tank farm “Belarusian Republican youth Union” in the result of carrying out gas-welding works on dismantling of the tanks ignited remnants of fuel and lubricants.
“At 16:14 on July 17 near the village of Terns Vasilkovsky district, Kiev region on the former oil depot “Belarusian Republican youth Union” in the result of carrying out gas-welding works on dismantling of the tanks ignited remnants of fuel in the area of 50 sq. m in the destroyed tank (a volume of 900 cubic meters). 16:42 the fire is localized. 17:05 the fire was extinguished”, – stated in the message.
