The Prosecutor of the Sumy oblast Mr. Vladimir Matviychuk signed the suspicion of forgery of documents and Declaration of false information to the Deputy of the Sumy regional Council Yuriy Chmyr, who during the Maidan occupied the post of Deputy head of the Administration of then-President Viktor Yanukovych.

According to her messages, pre-trial investigation found that after Yanukovych’s flight from the country, the suspect decided to hide expensive property.
“The former official filed an application to the relevant institution about the alleged loss of a passport by their own negligence, on the basis of which received a new identity document. Later, the suspect used the so-called lost passport for the Commission of legally significant notarial acts,” said Gar.
