State center of radio frequencies ordered to immediately disable the 3G connection in Zhytomyr
Ukrainian state centre of radio frequencies States that mobile operators “Kyivstar” and “Vodafone Ukraine” illegally included network 3G in Zhitomir.
“Currently, listed mobile operators permission to run 3G base stations in Zhytomyr issued. Specialists of the Zhytomyr regional Department of the UCRF had conducted an unscheduled inspection, which confirmed the operation of specified operators of illegally operating devices than were violated clause 2, article 30 of the law of Ukraine “On radio frequency resource of Ukraine”. In this regard, the Ukrainian state centre of radio frequencies sent to the companies “Kyivstar” and “VF” warning about the violation of the current legislation and the requirement to immediately disable the specified base station to obtain official permissions to use electronic funds network ЗG in the Zhytomyr region”, – is spoken in the message of the UCRF.
Now Zhitomir is the last regional center of Ukraine, which has not been started 3G-network Ukrainian mobile operators – due to the location of strategic military facilities.
Earlier it was reported that the General staff of the Armed forces of Ukraine gave the go-ahead for the use of 3G technology in Zhytomyr and Berdychiv.
