Kolomoisky on deprivation of citizenship Saakashvili: It’s a stain on the reputation of Ukraine
Businessman Igor Kolomoisky believes that the deprivation of the former Chairman of the Odessa regional state administration, Mikheil Saakashvili, on citizenship of Ukraine will have a negative impact on the reputation of the state in the world.
“Deprivation of citizenship Saakashvili is a shameful stain on the reputation of our state. Even more shameful is that, despite the tendency in Europe is implemented in the “best” Soviet traditions. Only history will evaluate positive he is a hero for Ukraine or not. Personally, I can only say that it was not and I hope not boring. No matter what motives he was guided, when stirred our sleepy,” – said Kolomoisky in the comments Dnia.
He suggests that if he may ever be deprived of citizenship, it will be an honor to be in the list next to Saakashvili.
“If I were ever deprived of citizenship, the presence in his company will be very honorable. Also, as in Soviet times, for those who were deprived of citizenship, was honourable to be in the company of Solzhenitsyn, Brodsky, Aksyonov, Rostropovich and Vishnevskaya”, – said Kolomoisky.
Meanwhile, Mikheil Saakashvili commented on the situation with the deprivation of Ukrainian citizenship. The appeal on his page in Facebook he said that he feels Ukrainian, and will seek the right to return to Ukraine.
