Mother Cliche Ageeva and recorded a joint video message to Putin and Poroshenko
Mother of Ukrainian political prisoner stanisław Cliche and prisoner of the Russian military Victor Ageev has recorded a joint video message to the presidents of Russia and Ukraine.
The appeal was written by the journalist of “Novaya Gazeta” Paul Kanygin in Kiev during his stay in Ukraine Svetlana Ageeva, which is allowed to meet with his son.
Tamara Klyh recalled that her son is in a Russian prison for three years and the past six months, she doesn’t know anything about him. She called on the leaders of Russia and Ukraine to solve the issue of release of prisoners and to stop the war in the East of Ukraine.

“I want you, Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, and our Ukrainian authorities, Petro Poroshenko, has decided this question. I think it is in your power to do it — our children return home to have mercy on them and stop the war. A war that we do not need — nor my mother, who came from Russia, not me. I really wish we lived peacefully and amicably and was one Slavic people. But not enemies,” said Tamara Klyh.
Svetlana Ageeva also called for an end to the war, “which separated our Nations.” In her opinion, Putin, “as a smart educated man, the head of state” has the power to do it.

July 22, mother of Victor Ageeva for the first time in 4 months met with his son in the Starobelsk SIZO in Lugansk, where he now contains. For Ageev, who said he illegally signed a contract with “LC”, this meeting was a surprise.
