NABOO calls Polyakova to wear an electronic bracelet
The decision, which the court ordered the people’s Deputy Maxim Polyakov, one of the defendants in the so-called “amber case”, to wear an electronic bracelet and surrender of the passport for travel abroad, is legitimate and should be fulfilled.

“Uncancelled judgment must be executed. Willful failure to judgment, according to article 382 of the Criminal code of Ukraine, shall entail criminal liability. Regarding the statements of the MP about the “illegality of the actions of NABU” the lack of information about the planned investigation or procedure, the majority of them are false,” the statement reads.

In addition, the NEB stressed that all investigative and procedural actions in respect of people’s Deputy Polyakov and his associates are legitimate, authorized and carried out in full compliance with the legislation of Ukraine.
“Detectives NABOO repeatedly and in different ways informed the MP about the need to appear for the execution of court decisions and to wear an electronic bracelet,” – said in NABOO.

Recall, the MP from the “people’s front” Maxim Polyakov, suspected of involvement in “amber case”, was summoned to the regional police station in Cherkasy region for mounting an electronic bracelet, but ignored the invitation. According to the representative Nacpac was Trakalo, the police along with detectives of the National anti-corruption Bureau of Ukraine was expecting up to 14 hours.
