The government announced another revision of the state budget. Who will give more money
The Cabinet plans once again to reconsider the indicators of the state budget for 2017 in September-October – strengthening social protection programmes.
“The main ideology of amendments to the state budget that have already been made, is to strengthen social protection, support and strengthening of combat readiness of our army. These are the two main emphasis. Today, we see a positive trend and I am convinced that we will do everything to ensure that in September-October was another revision of the state budget, where we could once again return to the strengthening of social protection programmes. In the context of pension reform, as a minimum, the program “modernization” of pensions, which are waiting for all citizens, we will hold until the end of the year”, – said Vice-Prime Minister Pavlo Rozenko in the air “112 Ukraine”.
He said that the main factor in above-target growth of budget revenues is the increase in two times – up to 3,2 thousand UAH – the minimum wage from 1 January 2017.
“The state Treasury service published official data on the income of the state budget and as of July, they exceeded the planned 42 billion UAH. This is primarily the result of economy of Ukraine, is the result of including those reforms which the current government,” says Rozenko.
Raising the minimum wage is allowed to increase the wage Fund, and with this increased revenues to the Pension Fund, the state and local budgets.
Meanwhile, the average salary in Ukraine has already exceeded 7.3 thousand UAH.
