The court ordered the Lviv armored plant to pay to the budget 10 million UAH

Lviv armored plant has to pay to the state budget of 9,8 million UAH.

The decision adopted by the Economic court of Kiev, reports a press-service of military Prosecutor’s office of the Western region of Ukraine.

The case concerns a contract on the supply of tactical military vehicles “Dozor-B”, contract for manufacture and delivery which was signed in December 2015 between the plant and the Ministry of defense of Ukraine. The company had to produce 10 such machines, which were intended for use in a zone of carrying out anti-terrorist operation.

Due to the fact that the amount of these defense funds exceed the actual cost of plants for manufacture and supply of cars, the enterprise had to return nearly 6.5 million UAH of payment. But the factory did not. Then the Prosecutor’s office appealed to the court for compulsory collection of these funds.

In addition, Lviv armored plant will have to pay 3.3 million UAH of penalties for delay in the manufacture and supply of military equipment.

We will remind, on July 13, the Director of the Lviv armored plant of the Novel Tymkiw and his Deputy were detained on the workplace detectives NABOO. Officials suspected in “assignment, waste of property or taking to them by abuse of official position”.

The Solomensky district court of Kiev appointed Director of the Lviv armored plant of the Novel Tymkiw a measure of restraint in the form of 60 days of arrest or pledge in 2 million hryvnias. Subsequently, he chose a measure of restraint for the three detained officials of the Armed forces of Ukraine and the state enterprise “Lviv armored plant”. For Tymkiv bailed his sister.
