In several districts of Kyiv the level of air pollution exceeded the norms

In some districts of Kiev, the level of air pollution several times higher than maximum permissible concentration.

This is stated on the website of the Main Department of Demirtzoglou in Kiev.

According to monitoring stations of the Central geophysical Observatory at 13:00 on 16 August, the level of pollution has reached:

• dust – 1,3 PDK S. D. in the areas of Bessarabia and Demiivska;

• carbon monoxide – 1,3-2 S. D. MPC (daily average maximum permissible concentration 3) on Dovzhenko street, 8, the areas of Bessarabia and Demeevskaya, Avenue Obolonskiy, 14;

• nitrogen dioxide – 3,5-4,25 S. D. MPC (daily average maximum permissible concentration of 0.04) in the streets of Dovzhenko, 8, St, 50, the areas of Bessarabia and Demeevskaya, Lesya Ukrainka Boulevard, 29, Prospekt Obolonskyi;
